One grid.
Both sides.
Price. Trade. Taxes. Money down. Payment.
The four-square folds the deal into one movable number and turns the paper around. This page posts the desk’s math instead: payment grids for any VIN — term by rate by money down — with the trade, the taxes, and every F&I attach line stated as its own line. The customer reads the same grid the desk reads. Built on the VIN by Vin.
An agent structuring a deal on a Mandate reads this same grid — and the structure it returns is the posted grid you’re reading now.
A VIN is 17 characters and never uses I, O, or Q.

The deal, structured.
Five lines and a payment. Each its own line — never blended.
The four-square works by blending: price into trade, trade into payment, payment into money down — one movable number worked until the other side stops asking. This sheet keeps the lines separate because the deal is arithmetic, and arithmetic survives being shown.
The trade stays its own line — the appraised number carries in from the record and never dissolves into an allowance shuffle. Price and trade sit on separate lines, so the swap has nowhere to live.
A slot without a papered figure says so in words, never an estimate.

Figures render live at the address. This page states structure, not quotes — slots fill from posted lines and papered rates, never from an invented number.

The grid, posted.
Terms down one axis, money down across the other — a payment in every cell.
A payment grid is scenarios, not a pitch: each cell is arithmetic on the posted lines above it, at a rate posted with source and timestamp. Move the term, and the price does not move with it — the lines are separate because the grid keeps them separate.
The four-square works because the math lives on one side of the desk. Here the math is the page: the buyer, the desk, and the agent either side sends all read the same posted lines and the same computed cells. Nothing on this page changes depending on who is looking at it.
A cell without a papered rate says so in words. No cell carries a teaser.

Rates post per scenario with source and timestamp; every cell is arithmetic on the posted lines and prints its inputs. Change an input and the cell recomputes — nothing else moves in the dark.

The money lines.
The loan, the products, the taxes — each priced at its own address.
No line on this page is priced here. The loan behind the payment column works at financing.vin; each F&I product prices its attach at fi.vin; the out-the-door lines compute by state at taxes.vin. This door posts the structure — the lines keep their own addresses.
- rate · posted — per scenario, source and timestamp; a slot without a papered rate says so, no cell carries a teaser
- attach · itemized — one product per line at its own address; no product enters the payment unnamed
- trade · its own line — the appraised number carries in from the record and never dissolves into an allowance
The gate, stated. This door transacts a desked deal only behind the lender-papering gate — bureau end-user certifications and state sales-finance standing, the licensing checklist rows this door cites. Until the gate clears, the page posts structure and reads: lines, grids, scenarios — the desk’s math, with no order taken here. Grid reads stay free either way.

The settle.
A desked structure is not a worksheet — it is the order forming.
The structure hands to commerce.vin as one order: the lines post to the deal record, the loan funds at financing.vin, the products paper at fi.vin, and the whole thing settles with every line at its own address.
Done is a posted structure both sides have read — and a deal that settles from numbers everyone read.
- commerce.vinThe structure settles as one order — every line at its own address, every event on one deal record
- dealers.vinThe register’s flagship: one desk for the unit — appraise, record, desk, move
- tradein.vinThe hinge behind the trade line: a consumer’s trade and a dealer’s acquisition, one record
the registerdealers.vin carries the rooftop — this door owns the structure; everything else the deal needs works at its own address
